Pet's Story or Bio
Woodstock has enjoyed his year as 2020 Mr. January touring the neighborhood and bringing goodwill & smiles to all during an enduring pandemic. He is well liked in the community and everyone knows his catchy name & rescue story (he and his 20+ siblings were named after Peanuts characters when they were rescued), and it has inspired other neighbors to adopt rescue dogs. Even his half-brother (cousin? nephew?), Cypress was adopted by a local family. The two spend much time digging and exploring the beach together. Over the summer, Woodstock helped his mom grow a garden in the backyard and wagon-deliver fresh vegetables to all the neighbors. He was often rewarded with house-to-house treats. And once a week, he would man a front yard, free produce stand, "Woodstock's Produce", filled with garden-fresh veggies and fruits (that he sometimes tried). Perhaps his greatest achievement as Mr. January was making the 6 hour drive back to Save-A-Pet Rescue in Forsyth, Georgia, in February to help host a weekend adoption event. February was also his one year adoption anniversary. What better way to say thank you and show your appreciation to the folks that saved your life?
