This Rooster may not crow at sunrise, but he will announce ball time with fighter-jet intensity. This one-year-old setter/pitbull/hound mix is equal parts chaos and cuddles — a flyby zoomie specialist, tug-of-war champion, and professional kid wingman. A true foster fail turned forever family member, his life motto is basically “play harder, love bigger, repeat forever.” Like his namesake from Top Gun 2, he lives life in the danger zone… especially when a tennis ball is involved. He came into our lives as a foster on his way to his forever home — but we quickly realized we needed him far more than we knew. With his goofy grin, endless zoomies, heart full of love, and championship-level snuggle sessions, Rooster found his forever home… especially with his favorite copilot — a 5-year-old boy who never goes anywhere without him. Wherever that little boy goes, Rooster is right there, ready for the next mission.
