Roo was found as a stray and spent over three months in a shelter without any adoption interest. When we asked about her, staff told us they had to move her bed away from the fence because she kept trying to use it as a trampoline to jump over it. We knew then that we had to meet her—and we fell in love instantly. The moment we brought her home, she was so excited that she jumped across our coffee table. We knew then she had to be named Roo, short for Kangaroo. Since that day, Roo has been our saving grace through seasons of hurt and loss. She is fiercely loyal and deeply loving, yet endlessly goofy. Roo lives for zoomies, playing fetch, and sunbathing in any patch of warm light she can find. She’s living proof that sometimes the most overlooked dogs have the biggest hearts.
