Macy was the first pup of the litter they handed to me off the rescue truck. She immediately bit me on the tip of my nose and then snuggled into my arms. She wasn't chosen at the rescue event, so she came to stay with me as a foster pup. It was supposed to be for a night or two, but she never left. She burrowed herself right into my heart instead.
Now she loves to hike and swim and play and snuggle. She arooos in her sleep and drives me and my other dog crazy with her puppy antics. But I cannot imagine life without her.
