Your Cat's Story or Bio
We were grieving the loss of our dog, Kona, when a friend sent me information about this cat at a shelter. His name was Kota. I felt it was fate, a sign from beyond. Kota, declawed in the front, had been abandoned after Hurricane Michael. He was terrified in the shelter -- hissing, spitting, and swatting -- and needed out ASAP. It took safety gloves to get him in a carrier. It took two months for him to come out from under the guest room bed. Now he never leaves us alone! He's very affectionate, drools when petted, and rules over our new dog.
