From hospice foster to beating the odds, Lucina now lives with her forever family after 16 years. Her second chance came when she was taken to SOCKS. Her kidneys were failing and she had given up. Foster parents, Bre and Nate couldn’t turn away. She was brought into their home, greeted by her her soon to be brother, Mr Jinkens, and was just spoiled with love and care. Now over a year later, she has made a miraculous recovery, has her very own chair, and was officially adopted after two weeks being with Bre and Nate. She loves crab and steak with her prescription kidney food. She only wants the softest blankets and her favorite toy is “Goldie”, a light up cat nip filled toy fish that she snuggles with. She is a queen in her home to say the least!
