Your Cat's Story or Bio
Gretchen is SOCKS Shelters office cat.
How did she become the office cat? Well, after 3 failed adoptions, with the last one resulting in a pellet lodged in her, we decided the best thing for her was to stay with us.
Gretchen suffered from extreme anxiety and peed on everything in her sight. We had her put on medication to help her anxiety, and she has become the best lobby/office cat one could ask for.
In fact, she is so happy and confident that she is being weaned off her medications.
You can find Gretchen roaming around our lobby, where she lives the life of a diva.
