Your Cat's Story or Bio
Garfield was found on the side of the road with a front leg injury requiring amputation as a kitten. Later in life his hind legs became paralyzed (unknown cause despite seeing multiple vets and a neurologist.) Against all odds and multiple vets saying he would never walk again- he perservered! His spirit was never changing and he had the will to live, so we vowed to do whatever we could to help him. It was extremely difficult for him as having one front leg made him completely immobile when his hind legs would not work. We built a "wheelchair" and slings, massaged and moved his legs, performed physical therapy at home, expressed his bladder everyday, and PRAYED- until he finally recovered. He lived several more good years after his recovery, and he renewed my faith in miracles!
