Amy just turned 11! She picked me from the Belleville, Illinois Humane Society. Amy loves being petted and brushed—but only on her terms. She’s not a lap cat, but she’s full of personality.

Last year, Amy had thyroid issues and lost a considerable amount of weight. Thankfully, she underwent treatment and made a full recovery.

Since Covid, I’ve worked from home, and Amy has become my constant companion—we chat throughout the day. If I go to the office or leave her with my sister, she always tells me about her time when I return.

If you’re ever flying from St. Louis to Destin, don’t be surprised if you see Amy and me on the plane!
