Maggie was a senior girl who was rescued near death. She was skinny with matted fur and coverd in fleas. Maggie could not eat or drink for weeks prior to her rescue due to the fact she had a deer vertebrae lodged in her throat. The only way she could breath was the hole in the vertebrae allowed just enough air in to sustain her but eating and drinking were impossible. Maggie had become so weak and tired she had given up and laid in some leaves in a yard to die. Luckily she was spotted by someone and the calls were made. Maggie was taken into the vet , bone was removed and her new journey in life began. A few weeks later after making lots of progress Maggie was adopted by us and moved to Virginia, where she lived out the remainder of her days being a spoiled princess who always got her way.

What is your pet’s favorite thing to do?
Maggie loved to squirrel watch, go on walks meet new people and sleep on her favorite rug. Maggie had many adventures before her passing. She was loved and is missed daily.
