Jake’s a senior, long-haired dachshund and casanova who enjoys long walks on the beach (so he can try and drink some tasty ocean water) and riding carelessly in his backpack when his little legs can no longer carry him any further. He spends his days lounging in the sun and tooting as soon as his owner walks by. Jake’s also a foodie; he’s open to trying new things and supports his local coffee shops by ordering his weekly pup cup and tipping generously. Even though he’s been diagnosed with Cushing’s, he doesn’t let that slow him down— he continues to gallop through parks and trails like a bounding sheep (‘til he gets tired). Walk by and he’ll ask for a pat. He’s the most loving companion a person can ask for.
