Gabe was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. When I saw him on the list of dogs needing a foster I couldn’t say no to those ears. I was only supposed to be a temp foster because of some previous commitments. But as fate would have it, he ended up coming back to me after a little vacation. I fostered him for 8 months, lying to myself about keeping a dog, before finally accepting that I couldn’t let him go anywhere
