Meet Diego, our resilient furry friend from Tennessee.

We took him in, on a leap of faith.
Not knowing anything about his background and why he ended up in a shelter when he was just a puppy.

He obviously faced some abuse and grew up his first year in a rescue with about 50 others just like him.

Some people will see just a dog.

But nothing with teach you how to approach each day with unwavering optimism and a sense of adventure like a dog.

Especially a rescued one.

The key to resilience is not being guarded or rigid. Afraid of what might happen next.

It’s about embracing life's uncertainties with curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow.
