I got Lulu aka "Louise" 4 years ago from SCBR, she was 3 years old a mess as her original owner kept her crated most of the day and she developed cherry eye and urinary tract infections frequently. I looked into a new bulldog to be a friend to the one bulldog I already had at home. When Vicki at the Rescue reached out to me I was told about a dog named "Louise". At the time she weighed only 27 pounds and a face only a mother could love. That was it...I was a gonner. Now she is a 52 pound beautiful dog and the most loyal one I have ever had. She is always in the same room as me and even guards me when I am in the shower!!! Thanks to SCBR they saved her life and brightened mine. She went from a very nervous and scared dog to "chill pill" as noted in the photo shot. She was noted on the SCBR Facebook page in 2016 as a true rescue story. God bless SCBR for their work in saving these beautiful dogs and finding their forever homes.
