She came to us as a senior who was almost 9 years old. She could barely walk. We thought we’d just have her for a short time and loved her anyway. She just passed away after almost 5 years of absolute joy with her. She was an ambassador for SCBR at events. And she was the senior statesman for all the other dogs that have passed through our home as fosters and yes, sometimes foster failures just like she was. We encourage people to consider adopting senior dogs. They are the best and are grateful for that soft bed and the affection some have never known. They love to cuddle and just be with you. And sometimes they surprise us and give us extra years with their precious personalities. Thank you Miss Stella Beach for all you gave to our family and for everyone else whose lives you touched.
