We had two beautiful bulldogs who were our only "children" and spoiled as such. On one of our camping trips a lady approached us to ask how we got their coats so full and shiny. You see, she was trying to look after an abandoned bulldog who she had to leave outside in the freezing temperatures. One thing lead to another and we ended up with a scrawny little waif of a bulldog with lots of hair missing. We took her straight to our babies vet who dubbed her a "rag-a-muffin". Muffin became our first "rescue" to come live with us. She was a sick little girl, but her joy at having a home was unlike any other we've seen with all our other bulldogs. She would not be left out of anything and was an equal part of our three "kids". While we only had her a relatively short time, she still holds a huge part of our hearts. A short time after her death, SCBR came into our lives. From foster kids to adopted kids, we have been blessed to be a part of the amazing network SCBR has for bulldogs in need. Just like Muffin.
