We adopted Maxwell when he was one year old. His pet mom was allergic to him and needed to find a new home. Fortunately, we took our other bulldog, Rosie, to the same day care as Maxwell. Knowing the health issues and additional care of owning a bulldog, the owner of the day care approached us with the idea of adopting him. Since we had recently lost our other bulldog to cancer, we welcomed him with open arms (and paws). He is energetic and a freight train when he comes running at you and you better learn how to get out of his way. All of our bulldogs have had their own personalities and stubborn comes to mind when referring to Maxwell.
