Bio or story
Her name is Lola. And yes, Mr. Manilow, she is THE Showgirl. Lola is the neighborhood’s dog. Everyone knows her and loves seeing her around the neighborhood. Her smile is infectious and her gentle disposition and need to greet EVERYONE makes her the center of attention EVERYWHERE. (Picture it: She arrives at the dog park and runs into the center, stands and strikes a pose, then goes around greeting all the humans first before allowing herself to play with her dog friends.) But above all else she is our eldest child and a great big sister to her human brother, Gabriel. Going from an only child to a big sister was hard, but soon her warm heart and sweet gentle way faded away (mostly) her jealousy. (Don’t get us wrong…she still tests us and acts like a stubborn only child sometimes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.) She will serve as a great example to him. Despite having had multiple surgeries to correct some breed specific issues, she fought and bounced back while always keeping her positive attitude. (Not without demanding to be fed by hand and given water with a straw during her recoveries…but that is a story for another time). She is our perfect Lil’ Pork-chop and the best ambassador for the bulldog breed. #LolaTheShowGirl
