A little about me...
Boogedi is a Netherland Dwarf rabbit and was a gift from my husband for our 8th wedding anniversary after my heart was broken by the death of a newborn baby wild rabbit that a dog brought in from the field, whom I cared for three weeks before his passing. Boogedi is 6 years old now and went through some major health crisis suffering too often from intestinal stasis and overproduction of calcium in the urine. After he was hospitalized 2 years ago for obstructive bladder sludge, I finally found a solution to all his problems. Turned out that Boogedi just did not drink enough water and was chronically dehydrated. After I started crushing a grape or other beloved piece of fruit in his water, he started drinking up to 100 ml of water a day! He was never sick anymore and is enjoying his life with his 5 years old female rabbit friend. Boogedi gives us kisses any time we pet him and has a docile and kind nature. He is cute as a button and loves small children and cookies. He is the focus of our household.
