HOW TO SUBMIT PHOTOGRAPHS
The minimum donation for submitting a photo to be included in San Diego House Rabbit Society 2023 Shelter Bunnies Calendar is $10.00 per photo. You may submit as many photographs as you like.
Online: To submit photos online, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Donations are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. San Diego House Rabbit Society is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Only upon their request, will entrants receive a receipt for their contribution.
All photos become the property of San Diego House Rabbit Society.
NO REFUNDS will be given for paid votes or entries for this contest.
ELIGIBLE PHOTOGRAPHS
- Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, and .png.
- Photos sent by mail must be no larger than 11"x14"
- Photos may contain one or more rabbits
- Photos must:
- be in color or black and white
- contain only rabbits (no people)
- be horizontal (landscape) format
- Photographs of people or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene; for example, rabbits fully or partially clothed (hats, scarves and harnesses are okay), in water or depicted in a stressful situation as determined by the staff of San Diego House Rabbit Society will be removed immediately without warning or refund.
- Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments)
- Photographs must either feature rabbit(s) owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the rabbit's owner to submit their rabbit's image.
CALENDAR PHOTO SELECTIONS
San Diego House Rabbit Society's judging committee will give consideration to all submissions for various prominent locations throughout the calendar: One photo will be selected as a full-month page. Participant selected as the full-page month winner will be notified and asked to provide a high resolution version of their photo, as well as a short biography of their rabbit, via email if necessary.
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITES
Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on San Diego House Rabbit Society's website, and be open to voting by the general public. Minimum donation is $5 for five votes.
All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.
To vote online, click on the Participate tab above. The online voting period will end at 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, August 15, 2022. Minimum donation is $5 for five votes. Your votes can then be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments. Voters do not have to use all of the votes at the time of donation. When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account. If a voter chooses to store the votes, voter can log in to their account using their ID and password and vote at a later time. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted.
Ending time for the Photo Fundraiser will be determined by the host website's server, which will show prominently on the Photo Fundraiser website as a countdown clock on the last day of the fundraiser.
The photograph with the most votes (donations) at the end of the submission period will win the voting portion of the Photo Fundraiser.
All votes are donations to San Diego House Rabbit Society and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Only upon their request, will entrants receive a receipt for their contribution.

The top three participants to receive the most votes when the voting period ends will be contacted by San Diego House Rabbit Society to claim the following prizes:
1st Place - Submitted photo will be featured as one of the calendar pages of San Diego House Rabbit Society's 2023 calendar. + free calendar shipped and $10 worth of treats/toys handpicked from our Bunny Store*
2nd Place - free calendar + $10 worth of treats/toys handpicked from our Bunny Store**
3rd Place - free calendar shipped**
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Winners must reside in United States to be eligible for free shipping.
* The featured pet must be a rabbit. It is this photograph that will become the calendar month page. If this requirement cannot be met, an alternative prize will be substituted. San Diego House Rabbit Society will determine the month which features this pet. Estimated ship date of calendar is mid October 2022. Winner must reside in United States to be eligible for free shipping.
**All other photos who was not 1st, 2nd or 3rd will be placed in a calendar day section of the calendar.
