Pet's Story
Austen was found in Downey in August of 2018. He was homeless and starving. He was taken to the Downey animal shelter. He was fed, given shots, neutered and micro chipped. He was then moved to a shelter in Culver City. My daughter and son-in-law saw his picture on line. They went to visit him in late September. They thought he was a sweet dog and assumed someone would adopt him quickly. A month later, he was still at the shelter. After much discussion, I went with them to visit the shelter on November 4th. Two hours later, Austen went home with me.
