Pet's Story
My sweet little girl rescued me almost 5 years ago just after I lost my job and after my mother had begun to show signs of dementia. A friend of a friend knew I was looking for an adult cat and she knew someone who had gotten a cat from a pet store adoption 2 years prior and was going to give her back because she couldn't keep her. So I took her without even meeting her first. And although she is extremely nervous and skittish we bonded immediately and we are glued at the hip. She's my little shadow. My mother passed almost 3 years ago and this furry girl has been such a source of comfort for me. She's the best girl, low maintenance, easy to care for, loves to play like a kitten (she's almost 12) and is very well behaved. She brings me so much joy and delight and after 12 years of not having a cat I can't imagine my life without her. I just love her so much and I know the feeling is mutual.
