Pet's Story
Luna was turned into Dee’s Rescue when she was 9 months old. Her original family bought her from a breeder, who crossed the American bulldog, English bulldog & Bull terrier creating a “Bully”. She was their 2nd dog & apparently “didn’t mix well” with dog #1. Dee called me & told me she had a special dog that followed her everywhere. She thought Luna might be a great playmate for Phoenix, an extremely abused pit bull we adopted 2 yrs. earlier. Once we brought Luna home we fell in love with her & so did Phoenix. She was very docile & afraid of the world. She loves children & other dogs. Because of her breeding she’s has had 2 knee surgeries. She is 3 yrs. old now & we’ve never even heard her bark or growl. She loves to chase rabbits that sneak into our backyard. She hears the car keys & comes running. She’s a great traveler & enjoys trips to Baja, the swap meet, Home Depot & dog beach. Luna is the most loving, curious, innocent, child like animal we’ve ever seen. Her kindness transcends to humans & animals. She’s so special!
