Pet's Story
Zydeco is a 7-year old Akita mix. We adopted him from the Escondido Humane Society. We were told he was a Catahoula Leopard dog, and therefore named him Zydeco for his Louisiana roots. But after we had his DNA tested, we found he is mostly Akita. He is a lovely dog and has a very unique look with two differently colored eyes. He has even helped our daughter as a therapy dog.
