Pet's Story
We adopted Mookie in San Diego. She was the runt of the litter, and her mama wouldn't let her nurse. We had to bottle feed her. She ended up needing three surgeries to correct a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. She is totally healthy now and busy terrorizing the lizards, birds and mice in our backyard. She is named after the (former) Red Sox player Mookie Betts. She is a good big sister to her little human brother, although she tries to take snoozes in his crib. Please vote for Mookie!
