Pet's Story
Fury is my husband’s 2nd parrot. His first parrot, a female Orange Wing Amazon, passed away after 40 years of faithful love and devotion. We also own a 20 year old male African Grey that is devoted to me. We waited about 6 months after our Amazon died before we found a baby Eclectus that needed re-homing due to an overseas move. We adopted Fury at 6 months old. Fury is now 3 years old and, like a toddler, enjoys running after moving things such as painted toenails on my feet or climbing onto Rex’s cage to raid his food bowl. She has the most wonderful coloring underneath her wings and loves to cuddle with my husband. It’s lovely to see him happy again with a parrot on his shoulder!
