Pet's Story
Tortie gets her name from her beautiful, tortoise-like fur color. She also goes by the nicknames "Tort" or "Tort-Tort". She is going on 16 years young. I've been blessed to have her for about 13 of those years and she's been one of the best things to come into my life. She is very shy, scared of loud noises and unfamiliar people. She is great at hiding! The first week that I had her, I could never find her because she was so good at opening/closing cabinets and wedging her way in the very back behind something. Actually, she still does that occasionally when she wants to give me a good scare! But once she got comfortable in her new surroundings, she became a total love bug who loves to cuddle, play fetch (especially in the middle of the night), chew on plastic, drink water out of my cups and be a complete source of love and affection. She also does a funny and loud meow-yawn that cracks me up! She is always there by my side, she is my fur baby and I don't know what I'd do without her in my life. I LOVE YOU, Tort-Tort!!!
