Pet's Quirks
Loves to: meow, race around the house, chase lizards, play with Da Bird, hide when the doorbell rings, purr up a storm, and sit on her human's laps.

Pet's Story
One day in the summer of 2009, we discovered Sox and her two brothers in the canyon behind our home in Azalea Park. They were about 3 months old. We guessed someone had abandoned them there, as the kittens showed up suddenly and there was no mother cat around.

At first, they were very skittish and fearful. For months, none of them would let us get near them. They'd simply dine on our deck and dash. But eventually we earned their trust – particularly Sox. This sweet, gentle-natured kitty began to let us pet her and pick her up. Soon, she wanted to come inside to sleep at night. She fell in love with our indoor cat, Putty, and it wasn't long before she decided to become fully domesticated and live the indoor VIP life with us!

Her brothers, however, preferred the outdoors. So, we did TNR and vaccines for both of them. They continued to live happily outside until they were adopted into FURever homes, too!

Sox is by far the most kind, gentle, spry, and loving cat we've ever encountered. She makes our lives better in every way. We're so grateful we found her!
