Anytime we hike with Ranger to a river, he will put his head under the water and blow bubbles but he will NOT swim!

Pet's Story
Ranger is a six month old Australian Shepherd with boundless energy whose favorite pastimes are hiking on the trails near our home and stealing socks from the laundry. Officially named Old West Texas Ranger after the main characters from one of our favorite books, Lonesome Dove, he and his older sister Mattie come from a long line of champions. Ranger is a playful puppy and is always on the go until he collapses with exhaustion, only to pick up where he left off after a short nap. He is a also a bit of a bruiser and earned himself the nickname early on of Mr. Bumbles for his clumsy and rambunctious behavior. However, he exhibits all the usual Aussie traits of being intelligent, loyal and hardworking. Both Ranger and Mattie bring great joy to our lives with their kind hearts and desire to please.
