Pet's Story
Oreo had Parvo at a few weeks old and was taken to the shelter because the owner was unable to pay for medical treatment. The shelter connected him with a group who provided the medical care he needed and he survived the odds. Even when he was very, very sick he was the happiest little boy, and has been a happy healthy member of my family ever since I adopted him. Oreo may only be 11 lbs. but he has a huge personality, is highly energetic, can chase a ball until someone tells him to "take a break", and will complete agility courses without fear of height or movement. He will kiss your face, hands and feet as if you haven't taken a shower, even holding your face between his paw refusing to let you get away from the kisses; rides in any shopping cart politely until someone acknowledges him then welcomes the attention anyone gives him (as if he doesn't get enough at home), and loves to go anywhere that is the adventure of that day.
