Pet's Story
After losing our 17 year old kitty, Sunny, and 6 months grieving we wanted to bring new joy into our home. A psychic told me that I needed to get a dog ASAP to feel the joy of unconditional love. Then, I saw a photo of a year-old dog called Bam Bam on the SDHS website. Her little face told me she was my girl!

SDHS didn't know much about her because she was dropped off by a good samaritan that found her on the side of the road. They said she liked belly rubs and leaned in for pets.

When we picked her up she jumped in the car, sat on our lap and we fell in love and named her Petunia. Every day since her smile brings joy and happiness into our life. We love watching her sniff every bush in South Park and seeing her little butt wiggle and shake when we walk in the door.

She is truly a sweet-hearted being who shares love and smiles with everyone she meets. We are the lucky ones to have such a wonderful dog!
