Pet's Story
We rescued Gianni from Chicago Animal Care and Control in March of 2019. We brought him home on a cold evening and he climbed into our bed and our hearts Immediately. He was 80 lbs of muscle and he was convinced he was a 10 lb lab dog, but he was always larger than life. Gianni was a masterful snack stealer and once won a blueberry muffin contest (there wasnt actually a contest he just stole and ate 16 blueberry muffins in one sitting) and proceeded to poop blue for 2 days...it was the most fragrant walk we've had. Gianni's LOVED a good road trip and we had the opportunity to drive cross country with him on our move from Chicago to San Diego in December, he even scored us extra Marriott Points because he was such a handsome well mannered guest. We lost our boy recently, taken way too early. Ive never had a pitt bull before but after 3 years with the best boy in the world I now know and appreciate how truly loyal and loving this breed is, so willing to open their hearts and love you fully and completely. We will miss and love him forever and want to share one of our favorite pictures with the world.
