Pet's Story
Rocky is a Jack Russell/chihuahua mix that we adopted in 2018 when he was about 1.5 years old. He was advertised as shy and quiet, but we learned almost immediately after he came to live with us that he was quite the opposite. He is highly energetic, loves attention (but no hugs, please) and enjoys being petted, scratched and massaged. His days are spent monitoring neighborhood activity through the living room window; roaming throughout the backyard in search of a wayward bird or lizard; and barking at anyone who dares to walk, bike or drive by the house or come onto our porch. He also has a very "sophisticated" palate and, in addition to his regular dog food, is particularly fond of freshly grated cheese, rotisserie chicken and Lactaid vanilla ice cream for dessert. He is a one-of-a-kind pooch and thoroughly sassy, but we don't know what we would do without him in our lives.
