Pet's Story
We adopted Weston when he was 6 months old. We quickly realized that his hind legs would give out when he walked, ran, and jumped. After several tests, his condition was deemed neurological with no obvious treatment. So we chose just to love him. We adapt our behavior to meet his needs and provide as much enrichment as possible. After four years of quirkiness, unconditional love, and lots of play Weston--and we--are thriving. He scales 6-foot tall cat trees even with his disability.

Weston is bonded to his little brother, Zack, whom we adopted the same day. Weston has also befriended his brother, Brody, which took lots of time and patience on Weston's part.

Over all the years we've been caring for cats, we've never encountered such a special cat--one who ignores personal boundaries, gobbles like a turkey, and plays with the greatest of imaginations. He is one of our favorites.
