Pet's Story
Pidgi was due to go home when the family decided not to adopted him. The baby bird we were going to adopt fell ill that day (dying a couple days later) and we were given the chance to adopt him instead. It took a bit for his boy to bond with him, as he was so bonded to the one who passed, but they have since created a strong bond and love to play together. He has learned to sing the chicken dance and other songs and even has a special noise he makes for every member of the family. He also loves to mimic household issues, like our squeaky cabinets and when my husband's cooking sets off the smoke alarms. Recently he has become obsessed with feet and will talk to, argue with, and sing to them. He isn't too fond on wiggly toes though.
