Pet's Story
Parnelli was a rescue when he came to live with us. I've had him for 46 years and he's approximately 63 years old. He loves to eat and digs himself a burrow to sleep in. In October he will start to brumate until sometime in April. I'm a second generation caregiver and my son will be a third generation caregiver for Parnelli. Parnelli loves to bask in the sun and then retreats to his burrow and sleeps the rest of the day. He soaks in water to keep him hydrated and loves to eat grass, dandelion greens, roses, and pansies. My 26 year old son grew up with Parnelli and he will be his next caregiver. Parnelli is the king of this house and we love him very much.
