Pet's Story
Destiny Chewbacca is around 17 years old. We adopted each other 15 years ago. She's had several life-threatening illnesses and has always pulled through. Last November and again this March she had to have one, then the remaining eye removed due to deep, non-healing corneal ulcers. Very sad for me, but she's not in any pain. I'm now her guide mom, carrying or walking her to food and water, and outside to the yard. She won't walk on a leash, but immediately seemed at home riding in her stroller. She'll always be my beautiful, blonde, bitey baby, which was my nickname for her when I first got her. She's now a serene senior.
