Pet's Story
My husband and I adopted Lucy through Labs and More Rescue in December of 2020. It was the first Christmas that we couldn't be with our family due to Covid so we thought it would be the perfect time to adopt a dog. Lucy and her litter mates were found in a dumpster in Mexicali and brought to the U.S. and taken in by various foster families before adoption. We picked her up on Christmas Eve and she has been providing hours of entertainment ever since.

Lucy is a Doberman mix and recently was reunited with some of her brothers and sisters who have so many similar traits. Lucy loves going to the dog park and making new friends. Her favorite spot in the house is on her bean bag chair by the front window. She alerts us to any dogs, people or strange noises outside and also enjoys time on the lounge chair by the pool. Lucy chases lizards by day and crickets by night. She is the perfect mix of a guard dog and a sweet, snuggly best friend.
