Pet's Story
I adopted Frodo from the Escondido humane society on May 13, 2022 after his owner surrendered him. They said he is 13-15 years old and that his owner had fallen on hard times. One of the staff there had tried to adopt him but had to return him after their donkey, who they thought he could share an enclosure with, kept trying to kick him. I saw him on the humane society website and having two goats already, I knew I had to have him. I went to the shelter and when I saw how small he was and how big his horns were I fell in love! (He seems to be some mixed miniature Nubian goat) He loves going on walks on a leash and nibbling on the grass. He loves scratches behind his ears and will lift his leg up and shake it like he is itching it himself while he is tipping his head back. He loves all fruits and veggies especially carrots and blueberries! He is very happy in his new home with me and his goat brothers
