Pet's Quirks
Thinks he's a 100-pound lapdog.

Pet's Story
When Charliebear was rescued from an abusive situation he looked like a skinny concentration camp dog, weighing under 50 pounds with patchy fur and sores everywhere. He was afraid to bark. Now he's a healthy 100-pound high-energy guy who loves everyone he meets. He also loves his Australian Kelpie rescue sister Carly and anything that looks like food. Quirky notes: he likes to show off his now-booming bark whenever barking at coyotes in the canyon behind our house, sleeps with his tiny stuffed pink pig tucked under one of his massive front paws, and sometimes believes he's a tiny lap dog when it comes time to watch TV with the family. Many awkward but funny moments ensue. We get back what we give to our dogs a thousand fold.
