Pet's Story
Our dog Breyer was brought into Chula Vista shelter and then transferred to the Gaines St. location; where we first saw him. He received an amputation due to a bone infection - and we shortly adopted him afterwards. He is doing great, and loving his new home, but he wouldn't have this chance to thrive without the San Diego Humane Society staff & our vet’s at VCA healthcare. Breyer recently finished chemo for his cancer, and enjoys hallway zoomies, walks through the park, and long naps. He loves to watch hockey while sitting in your lap. He hasn’t realized he’s 75lbs yet & considers himself a lap dog. We adore him and love having him as part of our family.
