In December, just as the year was winding down, a little spark of joy came into our lives in the form of an 11-week-old kitten named Cash. We found him at the Helen Woodward Animal Adoption Center, and the moment we met him, we knew he was meant to be part of our family.

Cash was tiny, full of curiosity, and had a gentle but playful spirit that was impossible to resist. After losing our beloved cat two years earlier, there had been a quiet in the house that never quite lifted—until Cash arrived. From day one, he brought warmth, laughter, and light back into our home.

Now seven months old, Cash has become the heart of the household. He makes every day better with his silly antics, his purring cuddles, and the way he always seems to know when we need a little extra love. He’s more than a pet—he’s a reminder of hope, healing, and the joy that comes with opening your heart again.
