Pet's Story
Hart (known as Hartford) was rescued by SDHS from a hoarding situation. When we picked her up to foster, she was missing a lot of hair, was terrified of new people, & was too scared to go for walks. After fostering for 5 months we decided we couldn’t let her go. Hart has now made friends with all of our neighbors and loves long walks. She helps her mom with dog training by coming along on walks with nervous dogs to make them feel more confident. She has become confident at the vet’s office & even went on a road trip to Joshua Tree. Hart is living her best life and she is the perfect fit for our family!
