Pet's Story
Betsy was a surprise birthday gift to my husband, a plan created by our three kids. She wasn’t ready to be homed until September, but my husband’s birthday is in August. To announce his present, we gifted him with a pink puppy collar and a dog cookie in the shape of a bone. He was a bit confused and thinking the cookie was his to eat, he nearly took a bite. We then told him that he was to become a dog dad in a month.
He was excited to cuddle this adorable pup, naming her after Betsy Ross and hopes to share her abundant love with fellow military veterans at VA facilities.
