Pet's Story
I adopted Soleil from Falconridge horse rescue in Valley Center in June 2025 after my horse Fierte passed away suddenly. Soleil happened to be at our ranch and was in the corral next to him. She would always come to me when I went to see him and even though our bond was immediate. I already had Fierte. She had come to Falconridge emaciated from a previous "rescue" and before that from a horse auction in TX. She had definitely been though the "wringer". She is super intelligent and an amazing riding partner. She is so happy loading in the trailer and heading out for a riding adventure. She's super brave and has no problem going out anywhere with just the two of us. Solo riding is not something that not many horses will do. I'm sure that she knows that she will never be mistreated again and is my partner for life but honestly, I really think she adopted ME :)
