Pet's Story
Calum was an SD Humane rescue. He became my adventure companion, and we camped together also over the western US. He especially enjoyed forests, where he could watch the birds and critters. He demanded walks twice a day, rain or shine, and was very vocal about getting them on time! He loved to snuggle in bed on cold nights and had incredibly soft fur like a rabbit. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and every day with him was a gift.

He passed away in March 2026, and life will never be the same without him. Thank you, SD Humane, for helping me find this incredible companion who brought me so much joy!
