Pet's Story
Jake and his littermate Odin were adopted by us in the Fall of 2014. From the moment he came home, it was clear that there was something special and peaceful about him that drew not only people, but other cats to him - something magnetic and almost magical. A quiet but strong leader, with a loving, healing presence. When we adopted a very frightened feral kitten, the only place she felt safe was curling up directly on top of him. And he let her! Not only does he have a heart of gold but he’s a gorgeous cat. Proof that black cats are just as photogenic and beautiful! He’s just an absolute joy and I’d love to see more black cats adopted. I hope he is an inspiration!
