Pet's Story
Mimi began as a feral cat that jumped a 6-foot fence and appeared in my yard with another cat. I provided them with water. Only eventually food. She was very skittish, and any movement scared her off. Soon she was napping in my chairs. Within 5 months, she was ready to be brought indoors to join Simba. It was the beginning of COVID, and the vet would not do a wellness check. She was then hit by a car. I was able to capture her and sent her to the Humane Society, where she remained for a month before I adopted her. She is a most affectionate lap cat.
