Chocolate Mousse is a 3-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever who was adopted from Rancho Coastal Humane Society on May 27, 2026.

When Mousse came home, he was starting a new chapter—and so were we. Like many rescue dogs, he needed time to adjust, but every day he shows us a little more of his goofy, loving personality. His recent first-ever zoomies reminded us just how far he’s come.

Whether he’s tagging along on adventures, making us laugh with his silly expressions, or snuggling up after a long day, Mousse has become an irreplaceable part of our family. He reminds us that patience, love, and second chances can change a life.

We thought we were giving Mousse a forever home, but he ended up giving us something even greater: unconditional love, endless smiles, and a daily reminder that the best things in life are often rescued.
