Pet's Story or Bio
We met Roux in a way back corner of Seattle Humane’s amazing new facility in January of 2019. He was obviously on guard, nervous, and mostly afraid. We knew immediately that we had to meet him. It took 3 hours before he allowed us to pet him. But he decided to trust us, and we made him part of our Pack. He is a new dog every day, and has learned so quickly what it means to feel secure, safe, and loved by humans. He just turned three, and we can’t wait to give him the life he deserves! After losing two dogs to old age, we didn’t know how another dog would end up in our lives, but we are grateful to Seattle Humane every day for bringing us together with this kind soul. We know that without Seattle Humane, our boy would not have survived this long, and we are happy to give back. Please help support Seattle Humane by voting for Roux in the #pawparazzi photo contest!
